Jean-Ralph Thurin poured on the glitz and glamour for fall, starting with the collection’s opening look: a gold tulle ballgown covered in lace medallion embroidery with a crystallized bodice. And yet it was the more restrained looks that made the most impact, such as a wool crepe strapless gown with a fox-fur collared cape, hitting just the right mark for the season. A cap-sleeve mermaid gown with a U-neckline and metallic beaded accents was another elegant choice.
