Gustavo Lins continued on his quest to create “everyday” couture. Channeling the simplicity of Japanese architect Tadao Ando’s work, the Brazilian designer produced a beautifully cut black foal pencil skirt with an orange silk chiffon lining, for example, which was somewhat reminiscent of the shapes of Ando’s Dream Chair. The designer’s signature kimono influences worked best on an ensemble featuring a black-and-white printed silk rider jacket with a lambskin bustier and cropped lambskin harem trousers. The overall feel was calm and reserved, although some of the looks were almost too discreet.
