A flower-power theme continued to infuse the fall collection, which was festooned with blossoms and other floral motifs that Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo hand-painted or rendered via silk 3-D cutouts and beading.
The collection varied in volumes, from a long and billowy silk chiffon gown and cape to a sheer tulle bodysuit and silk faille flared skirt to the mini shift dress with cocoon-shaped cape. References abounded, too, including Seventies bohemia and 19th-century Italian tapestries.
Still registering strongly was Old Hollywood glamour, as seen in a pink tulle gown with a plunging neckline and black belt and a tulle gown with silk organza skirt and top embroidered with gold feather thread work.
Right before lights dimmed, Lil’ Kim was ushered to her front-row seat at the show, joining the likes of Petra Nemcova, Jourdan Dunn, Sonam Kapoor and Adriana Lima.
