This brand’s designer, who goes by the name Olga, chose to stage her fall show outside the entrance of the Takashimaya department store in Shinjuku. Models walked an aluminum foil-covered runway flanked by blue fluorescent tube lights. The collection was made up of edgy takes on carefree, easy pieces in a combination of black and Easter-egg pastels. Slim cut pants and loose tie-dyed skirts were paired with oversized, deconstructed t-shirts and asymmetric knits in a soft, fluffy texture. A series of garments in red, blue and ivory checks reminiscent of a picnic blanket rounded out the offering.
