Hideaki Sakaguchi showed a collection of modern takes on classic country styles in a warm, neutral palette of browns, camel, burnt orange and ivory. Wool blazers and pea coats were mixed with corduroy vests and culottes, as well as nylon puffer coats trimmed in fur. Sakaguchi used plenty of masculine influence for his women’s collection, adding accessories like suspenders and wedge-soled hiking boots. Herringbone, checks and plaids were contrasted with sumptuous sheepskin jackets and a series of coats in immaculate, luxurious ivory wool.
