Richard Nicoll’s knack for fabric development shone on the catwalk as he transposed the look of crocodile skin onto knitted jacquards and micro sequin embellishments. He took two easily accessible fashion motifs — animal print, which he’s never done before, and the leather biker jacket — and spun them into gorgeous dresses, sharp suits, great two-tone coats and juicy citrus-colored eveningwear.

A particular standout was the dove gray pencil skirt made of shaved fur in a chevron pattern that was worn with a misty gray cashmere herringbone intarsia sweater.
