Alexa Chung was the muse for Anna Molinari’s Blugirl collection, the younger sister of Blumarine. The British ‘It’ girl sees fashion in a cool and youthful way, and the first few London schoolgirl exits — like the lovely knitted floral sweater with a pleated plaid kiltlike skirt — made that point with ample appeal. Leopard-patterned furry coats added a rebel charm. Throughout, these clothes felt more sophisticated than in previous seasons, even though Molinari sometimes strayed from her original theme. Chinese dragon embroidery, as well as the sequined and beaded swans across the front of black dresses, didn’t flow with the rest of the lineup.
