MSGM’s playful young girls are growing up so creative director Massimo Giorgetti is bringing his bold aesthetic to a new level. To prove that evolution doesn’t mean revolution, he presented a collection that, while more mature, still looked fresh and appealing.

He worked in classic British fabrics (Prince of Wales, houndstooths, tartans) for the constructed outerwear, chic full skirts and fluid pants. The strong men’s wear inspiration was balanced with feminine prints, i.e., a tailored gray cape was worn over a romantic silk organza dress in a pretty floral motif.

Giorgetti also played with printed and dyed shearlings. One in a leopard motif was used on the front of a sporty orange sweater, and on a coat with a contrasting orange mink collar for an elegant yet ironic look.
