As of now, Jil Sander Navy is under the direction of the design team, though in a recent interview, executives at parent company Onward Kashiyama hinted that it might change going forward, with more involvement from Sander.

In the name of evolution and cohesion within the Jil label, Navy was noticeably more relative to Sander’s main collection than in the past, which made sense and a strong lineup. It was less about carefree feminine looks and more in the vein of relaxed minimalism, expressed via a classic palette and clean cuts. Tailoring had excellent details, as in the kick at the back of a trim blazer and the neat taper of pintucked trousers. There was also great outerwear in cropped shearling jackets and a herringbone cape.
