Alice Lemoine clearly has her sights set on developing a signature style, and her Le Moine Tricote collection is one to watch. The master knitter has made a point of distancing herself from her former employer Rick Owens, abandoning his gothic aesthetic for a softer, more feminine mood. Lemoine humbly called this collection “one step forward.” She featured strategically integrated plastic bands and delicate felt structures to add shape to lusciously knitted cardigans, coats and skirts with matching blazers that were kept sober in black, brown and gray with a touch of salmon pink.
