Manuela Arcari’s delicately conceptual yet highly wearable Ter et Bantine collection let off a peaceful, Far Eastern vibe. The designer used sensual kimono wrappings on lean bathrobelike overcoats, while her quilted jacquard jackets riffed on cocoon-ish Tibetan sheaths. Patches of Mongolian longhair placed around the waist of softly tailored trousers and nonchalantly across a T-shirt’s shoulder further fed into the Asian theme.

Elsewhere, interesting evening options came in the form of tops: bare-shouldered turtlenecks and lightly draped bustiers that Arcari paired with either slouchy wool pants or midcalf skirts and leggings.

Done in black on black with occasional touches of cream and brown, this collection had an air of calm chic.
