A trio of industrial waterfalls provided the backdrop — and the soundtrack — for the Hunter Original show, a journey to the wilds of the Scottish Highlands. The collection, for men and women, opened with a series of slim quilted-nylon coats in khaki, ochre and rust, worn with cropped pants and great elastic-side flat rubber boots. The label also presented boiled-wool or nylon trench-inspired coats in mustard, red and black that had rubbery trompe l’oeil printed panels over the shoulders, giving the effect of yokes. Prints inspired by geological strata, lichen or minerals appeared on car coats and on a seriously puffy poncho.

Notable accessories included rubberized leather bags, one in a workman’s lunchbox shape, while an oversize envelope looked great covered in shaggy faux fur.
