Bold, unapologetic design is what you can expect from Marjan Pejoski, and he didn’t disappoint with a fall collection brimming with graphic elements, vibrant colors and a slew of outrageously astounding outerwear. The lineup was a tribute to “the primal woman indigenous to this land,” who evolves into a sexualized, empowered being.

Cozy tailored coats with shearling insets set the mood — clean, unfettered and done in natural tones. They were chic, with just the right amount of creative detail. Abstract Aztec-print coats were also highlights, done in bright hues and striking color-blocked furs, proving Pejoski has a fine hand in inspired outerwear development. And finally: skintight leather dresses and tops to embody the modern urban women.

Paced as evolutionary, the lineup could have easily been divided into a few mini collections — and fared better without some of the more overdone tribal prints.
