Atsushi Nakashima moved his runway show from Tokyo to Milan, where he presented a collection which touched a variety of moods.
Patchwork bomber jackets and oversize boxing pants with furry inserts were infused with a masculine, sporty attitude, while a graphic dress with front pockets, worn under a relaxed robe coat, had a utilitarian feel. The lineup, which looked a tad incoherent, also featured romantic accents introduced via the ruffles decorating a short-sleeved patent leather trenchcoat.
Spherical motifs were a key theme. They appeared, for example, as a pattern peppering skirts and dresses, while bras, worn over tops and frocks, accentuated rounded silhouettes.
