She’s just a cosmic girl. At Anna K, a space inspiration sent creative director Anna Karenina on an intergalactic mission. Patches and brooches in the shape of planets, satellites, comets and stars embellished an array of pieces, including short dresses with pearls and separates crafted from a white fabric with a shimmering effect. The designer also created an intarsia space shuttle on a leather jacket and paired it with a miniskirt decorated with flames.
Elsewhere, Karenina worked with a childlike print featuring babies, which, for example, she used on a velvet sweatshirt matched with a coordinated skirt. The lineup was young and whimsical, with plenty of options for the post-Millennial Generation Z.
