Her Chromat collection is filled with structural-looking athleticwear and lingerie-esque dresses that are bold and vibrant. For fall, she was inspired by color theory and the work of conceptual artists Robin Irwin and Dan Flavin that combines biological functions and light.

 

The show kicked off with a slew of models walking in the dark as their sporty-sexy outfits glowed with bright lights, making Chromat perfect for stage performers. The brand already has a growing fan base that includes Beyoncé, Madonna, Nicki Minaj and FKA Twigs.

 

For real life, there were plenty of interesting color-block pieces as well as styles with cool mesh insets — a striking combination of fashion and function.
