On the eve of Valentine’s Day, Sofia Sizzi showed a Giulietta lineup inspired by a fragile woman with a broken heart. “It’s a darker collection than usual, a bit more urban, even if it’s always very feminine,” said the designer backstage before the show.
For fall, Sizzi set aside her signature Sixties silhouettes to embrace a stronger, sexier look. There were clear references to the Eighties in the tight leather pants worn with soft blouses, in the draped minidresses cinched at the waist with sashes, and in a roomy, sartorial blazer embroidered with graffiti-inspired graphics.
And because everyone knows that after a breakup a girl needs some fun, Sizzi closed the show on a glamorous note with a group of allover sequin styles — including a traffic-stopping silver jumpsuit injected with a disco vibe.
