Jill Stuart’s favorite formula — Seventies rock star meets bohemian gypsy — is exactly what she delivered once again. This time around she referred to her party girls as “night blossoms.”
“They have an underground elegance, very louche style, very tough opulence,” she explained.
On the runway, models strutted to metal music in corduroy culottes with matching jackets, rhinestone-studded dresses, shorter-than-short black cocktail dresses, red tiered maxiskirts and flowy romantic gowns. “Its all about putting on that beautiful dress, having fun, feeling alive,” Stuart said.
