In the spirit of the age-old saying, “Slow and steady wins the race,” Nellie Partow launched her collection in 2012 without making a huge splash — and ever since she’s delivered a consistent collection filled with luxurious handmade knits, elevated suiting and simple-chic dresses.

Fall was no different as Partow stayed on cue with crafty “spinal” knits, which feature a distinct elaborate pattern along the back, as well as one style with a fun peek-a-boo detail. Neither look read as tricky at all.

A beautiful muted gray shearling and a “refined parka” were also memorable, as outerwear continued to emerge as another strong point for Partow — who recently joined the CFDA and told WWD that sales-wise, spring was her best season yet.
