Asymmetric cuts, drapes, pleats, adjustable drawstring details — all conveyed the sense of movement that Izumi Ogino wanted to get across in her fall collection. Knitted sweaters, sometimes worked with graphic intarsia, had fluid silhouettes, while a gray and black tartan cashmere jacket, matched with a coordinated skirt, was cut longer on one side. Eighties references echoed in the strong shoulders of dresses and coats, while a thick knitted bomber with shearling was infused with an urban cool factor. Hitting on the biggest trends of the season so far, Ogino also crafted colorful velvet into a fluid dress with a plunging V-neck and a skirt worn with a cashmere maxi shirt infused with a masculine, utilitarian feel.
