Asaf Ganot is quickly evolving his collection.

The former basketball player, who’s a self-taught designer, showcased a full runway show that had an equal number of women’s and men’s looks. Ganot focuses on textiles, even developing his own fabrics, washes and treatments. For fall, he showed a wide variety of leather jackets for both men and woman — all made in Italy so the craftsmanship is of the highest quality.

For women, there were sleek jackets that ranged from denim-inspired to some with a safari influence, as well as cropped trousers and a jumpsuit — all in leather. He also showed some great shearling coats, textured jackets, a corset-tie leather dress, as well as a sexy foiled cropped jacket and jeans.

His men’s wear was very much in sync with the woman’s collection. There were shearling coats, a polo shirt with a leather collar and a great variety of leather jackets; most noteworthy was the quilted leather zip-front jacket. Overall, the collection had an urban-street vibe, but with a hefty price tag.
