Quietly chic — and cozy as ever. That summed up the vibe at Tse’s fall lineup, which was inspired by the works of artist Cy Twombly. The design team punctuated the beige and putty hues of Twombly’s sculptures and photographs with elements of colorblocking for its collection of luxe cashmere knitwear. To keep things interesting, they also piled on textural detail, such as intricate cable stitches, needle-punched intarsia embroidery and fragmented ribbing. Elsewhere, subtly speckled knits resembled flecks of paint. Ribbed-knit flares, bell-sleeve sweaters and cape coats felt apropos for a Sunday afternoon stroll.
