Judith Milgrom kept it mostly dressy for her fall collection, with an array of tuxedo and suit jackets that added a layer of sheen to a smart, French-girl lineup.
“I really wanted tuxedos: black, red and white, and suit jackets — I wanted to add jackets,” she said. This included a chic silvery lurex-infused shorts and jacket ensemble. “I like the idea that one can go out at night with day pieces,” explained Milgrom.
Loose skirts and dresses — prints included florals and paisleys — were paired with snug leather jackets or heeled boots, slightly scrunched at the ankles.
She also added touches of neon, including a bright sweatshirt printed with an image of her seven-year-old spitz dog Gypsy. On hand at the brand’s show room, the fluffy, popular little pooch held court from the leather cushion of his Eero Aarnio ball chair.
Milgrom also added some thick knits, including a light brown sweater with poufy sleeves and an ivory sweater dress — adding texture without going too casual.
