Launching his new label, veteran designer Romeo Gigli showcased a mélange of Italian and English sartorial traditions in an urban collection of tailored pieces both slim and ample. Much of the work was in the details, including double patch pockets on the back of a coat or a reversible coat in shearling and leather. The clothes were recognizably Gigli, with a hint of the Eighties in geometrical print shirts and iridescent jackets fit for a night on the town.
