Watanabe continued to indulge his fascination with American workwear. This time, a number of the hirsute models looked as if they’d wandered onto the runway straight from the farm, clad in soft plaid shirts and heavy, loose-fitting jeans, held up with leather suspenders. The highlights of the collection weren’t so labored, such as slim-cut suits with leather elbow patches,or a denim peacoat stitched with oversize pockets and patches of plaid and leather.
