Fresh from his Ecco Domani win, Timo Weiland presented his most retail-friendly lineup yet.
“It’s about reality for us,” said Alan Eckstein, design director. “We used to build collections about special moments. Now it’s about every day.”
That translated into sportswear-driven clothes that hit on most of the season’s trends: cropped utility jackets, textured knits and hooded bombers with contrasting leather sleeves, all paired with jewel-toned corduroy pants.
The casual prep-school spirit was enhanced by layering tricks such as thin turtlenecks under shirts and shirttails peeking out from sweaters and jackets.
“This is dressed-up streetwear — casual luxury,” said Weiland.
The collection didn’t break any new ground but some tailored pieces would have elevated the overall look.
