Jean Paul Gaultier’s men’s collection tapped the same themes as his women’s pre-fall line. Mod references were reflected in suits with tight, cropped jackets and skinny pants, and outerwear such as a waxed light gray parka and a black Chesterfield coat with a removable collar and front. The French designer also worked in a male version of the Bermuda shorts-over-trousers look. The collection, consisting of around 60 pieces, is now produced by Gibò SpA, which already held the Gaultier women’s wear license.
