“I liked the modular idea of things being interchangeable,” Alex Mattsson said his moveable pockets attached via the tactical webbing the army uses for its vests.

He also referenced industrial modular design via color blocking – in a pleasing palette of yellow, lilac, green and grey – on sweatshirts, pants and tracksuit dungarees that came complete with contrast tool pockets on the bib and also on the backs of the legs.

His innovative sportswear also featured carbon textured dots and strips applied via a heat transfer vinyl technique of his own invention.

Cropped cords with piping on the sides fit the label’s workwear ethos, as did the customized Cat boots. Mattsson’s brand of intellectual functionality is refreshing and exciting.
