Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery — surrounded by a sea of pink-clad models — couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces at the end of this romp of a show that channeled childhood pursuits, punk and, well, pink.
Knits came in a variety of iterations: Sweaters had wayward bits of yarn hanging off them and lots of holes, while others resembled cobwebs. In addition, there were striped jersey collegiate jackets in black, pink and white and oversized scarves enveloping models’ necks and chests.
Pink latex played a role, too, and came mixed into some of those sweaters with holes or as voluminous sweeping coats. Models carried giant stuffed pink teddy bears — inspired by Sebastian Flyte of “Brideshead Revisited” — or wore tiny ones pinned to their bubble-gum pink sweaters. This collection was one big burst of joy, and should keep Sibling’s order books humming.
