Todd Snyder knows what American men want to wear—especially during a cold New York winter.

His outerwear-heavy fall collection proved the point and also showed his range and fabric knowledge. A camel-hair wool topcoat with a bonded membrane to repel water was technical in its materials, but maintained its classic heritage.

Other standout outerwear pieces included a navy shearling coat paired with a tonal turtleneck and dress pants.

“It’s a little bit different, but still traditional,” he said.

Snyder dabbled in ath-leisure as well with the use of formfitting sweatpants, some in ribbed fleece.

But the presence of nicely tailored corduroy suits and rich, clean leathers kept the collection from going too casual.
