Boris Bidjan Saberi’s  fall collection maintained a military undertone, with models sporting jumpsuits and layered looks. Low-slung trousers and shorts peeked out from under elongated jackets and shirts, while jackets were piled upon jackets. The cult German-born designer’s fashions – coming primarily in leather, knits and woolens in solid shades of black, red, orange and gray – look straightforward from a distance. But on closer inspection, the pieces were crafted together like complicated puzzles; satchels melded into jackets, for instance. They worked in a weird and wonderful way.
