Virgil Abloh imagined an epic journey with his third men’s Off-White collection, entitled “Don’t Look Down.” Taking his inspiration from vintage mountaineering wear, Abloh’s designs were more urban cowboy than inner city, with wool plaid ponchos, chunky rope belts and thick wool socks punctuating several looks, styled with mountain boots and wide-brimmed hats. Even the more streetwise styles like sweatpants and a camouflage sweatshirt were rendered in boiled wool instead of technical fabrics.

“This collection is the first real view into my silhouette, my fabrics and my ability to storytell,” said Abloh. “It encapsulates that human sentiment of wanting to ascend something.”
