Neapolitan tailor Isaia, which withdrew from Pitti Uomo this season, tapped into the Seventies trend for fall, conjuring a handsome run of coats.


They were the kind you’d want to steal from your grandfather, reinterpreted in the company’s own vintage herringbone patterns from the period.


One lightweight double-breasted number with pointy lapels was particularly striking.


As the brand is growing beyond tailoring, it also employed its woolen check fabrics on sporty puffer jackets with utilitarian pockets, which could have easily be worn in lieu of a suit jacket when matched with same-pattern bottoms.
