Tod’s created a series of tableaux vivants on a set in the garden outside Milan’s exquisite Villa Necchi Campiglio to further establish the label as a lifestyle brand. Andrea Incontri, who designs the men’s collection, introduced Tod’s new down jacket in soft and light brushed leather with a wax treatment that added a vintage, three-dimensional touch to the look. The item was also presented as a vest. “I opted for a street casting as I was interested in having real men wearing the collection to tell a story and together we chose what each would wear,” said Incontri, pointing to the interior designer posing for the presentation.
Stemming from Tod’s staple gommini moccasin, the designer peppered sneakers with the pebble details also on the vamp, not only on the soles. The new Moc bag blended elements of a briefcase, a tote and a messenger and was also shown in a matte, supple crocodile skin.
