Christian Wijnants has been building up his men’s wardrobe since launching the line last year, when he started with the house specialty, knits. Ticking off this season’s musts, sweaters came in chunky boiled wool — either bright orange or pale teal — as well as alpaca. The designer also mixed in windbreaker trouser sets in a technical satin — bright blue and sherbet green — and offered the same silhouette in jeans material, and lots of loose-fitting shorts.

WWD Critique: The designer has handily managed his segue into men’s wear — highly original but not too arty.
