With a men’s collection that veered toward the clean and modern, Yigal Azrouël retained a healthy dollop of his signatures like plentiful drawstrings and textured knits, some in optic prints. The designer’s penchant for edgy streetwear elements was seen in cool leather hoods and collars that accented some of the looks, while bucket hats and shorts were worn with workwear boots, some in pops of purple, adding a jaunty vibe. But the essence of this appealing show was restrained, with an emphasis on clean lines, solid colors and a minimum of distracting bells and whistles.
