Fluorescent frames propped on the runway and the parking garage venue cued an industrial theme. Papery fabrics and a limited palette — drab gray, tan, white and some strong blues — gave Doma’s familiar, generous shapes a clinical, uniform flavor. Safari jackets, overblown bombers and ballooning pants were the main shapes. Constructivist patches added a Soviet bloc aspect. Crisp macs and blousons with quilted raglan sleeves stood out from more offbeat shapes (corset-waist pants) and fabrics (quilted chevrons in pink silk).
