Among the standouts of Chitose Abe’s spring collection was a wide-striped parka so voluminous it could be mistaken for a cape, while light floral prints had a funky, camouflage effect and looked right on trend. Abe’s knack for putting an athletic spin on tailored pieces came through on shirt-jacket hybrids made from ultrathin printed nylon, which she also used for modernist sweat pants.
