Designers Agape Mdumulla and Sam Cotton wove the season’s workwear trends into a fresh, fun collection filled with outsized proportions, and childlike, hand-painted pajama stripes.
There were comically baggy jeans and mud brown trousers with a dropped crotch and patch pockets, and equally roomy jackets and trousers done in cornflower blue corduroy. Boxy leather shorts that stretched to the knee flapped as models walked, while coats came with an equal dose of slouch, in laboratory, greengrocer, and belted bathrobe styles.
Those naïf blue and white stripes popped on hoodies and the transparent shirts that models wore knotted around their waists.
