This brand exalted the glory days of British automobile racing – the Sixties – with clothes inspired by that era’s drivers, spectators and even the pit crew.
Outerwear and utility took pole positions with a stone-colored asymmetric zip racing jacket in cotton gabardine, a pistachio parka complete with map pocket and a reporter vest all zip pockets and mesh. One winning ensemble paired a full-length navy coat layered over a shirt jacket in Black Watch tartan – a nod to famous Scottish racing hero Jackie Stewart – with a left breast zip pocket like a driver’s overalls.
“I’ve always been fascinated with that particular era as it was so thrilling,” said creative director Graeme Fidler. “In those days it was about driving as fast as you could and winning no matter what.”
