What YMC lacks in the big statements that usually justify a runway shows, it amply makes up for with its unfailingly wearable clothes. Head of design Fraser Moss referenced oriental-style workwear in collarless shirts and jackets, such as the indigo denim V-neck jacket that buttoned up over a long white cotton tunic and a pair of side-striped denim pants. A light denim boiler suit underscored the utilitarian aspect.

The palette was rich in shades of jade, navy, sage and mid blue. Standout outerwear included an ultralight parka and car coat in a gray cellophane-thin fabric and bomber jackets in perforated suede, especially the gray one with a tiger’s head embroidered on the back.
