Paul & Shark, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, teamed with South African biologist and photographer Chris Fallows for a capsule centered on the shark. The company graphically revisited a photo Fallows took in the South African waters for a pattern that it reproduced on T-shirts, technical jackets and accessories such as backpacks, baseball caps and surfboards. The line will be available in stores starting in February and part of the proceeds will benefit Fallows’ Dyer Island Conservation Trust to protect and study the animal.

The brand also unveiled garments made from organic Egyptian cotton grown without pesticides and harvested by hand using natural and certified farming methods. One such item includes the Eco Down jacket whose down was replaced by a soft and light wadding. In sync with its functional spirit, Paul & Shark also showed a jacket made from technical waterproof fabric, with panels in a material that combines fiber optics that refract the light.
