Hickey Freeman continues to expand its reach beyond the traditional boardroom suit.
“I was inspired by pictures of the Painted Desert located in the Badlands of the Southwest,” said Arnold Brant Silverstone, chief creative officer.
The soft tones of the arid landscape appeared throughout the collection in dusty rose jackets, blazers and pleated pants. A white sand shade in suits and safari jackets also helped drive the inspiration home.
The tailoring knowhow of the house was reflected in the deconstructed yet precise shoulders on tuxedo ensembles, and the interior of the full-canvas suit jackets were cut on the bias to allow for a more drapy feel.
The bohemian and romantic look of elongated duster coats, and voluminous silk pleated pants made it clear that the Hickey Freeman man is ready to embark on a more lifestyle-driven adventure.
