The exploration of how to redefine the modern men’s wear uniform resulted in a youthful and modern offering at this season’s Maiden Noir presentation, which took inspiration from Forties and Fifties military workwear.

 

Even though garments were loose in proportion — fuller bottoms with pleats, various deconstructed jackets with utility pockets and overcoats in crisp broadcloths — they still maintained a clean structure. Georgia O’Keeffe’s landscape paintings served as the main color reference for the line as seen in dusty hues, coral pinks and dark olives and blues that grounded the collection.
