Growing up east of L.A. has never looked so cool. Second/Layer’s refined cholo vibe continued to leave its mark through oversize tailored jackets paired with matching sweatpants, fitted moto jackets over cropped high-waisted trousers and voluminous bombers with cut-off jeans.
T-shirts and sweatshirts featuring lyrics from famous love songs and concert tour graphics revealed that underneath it all, the Second/Layer man also has a weakness for romance. At the same time, the brand’s interpretation of tailored outerwear and suits showed its more serious side.
“It’s a continuation of our proposition,” said cofounder Joshua Willis, “tailor-made daily wear.”
