Designer Ilan Chétrite turned to Nineties streetwear for spring, saying he thought of the kids who hung out in central Paris, at the entrance of the shopping center in Les Halles.
Bucket hats, gas stations shirts and checked trousers were mixed with sweatshirts — bright yellow, marked ‘Paris’ — and a profusion of outerwear. A bright red jean jacket had matching pants, and jean jackets came in leather as well.
Burgundy, pink and brown dominated the color palette, giving a chic edge to his loitering teenagers. Trousers were cut short and straight, paired with the wide range of sneakers on hand, many of them crafted from running shoe models.
