Citing a similar vision for both genders, Miuccia Prada put about a dozen female models in pre-fall looks on her men’s runway in Milan on Sunday.

Her take on camouflage, a fashion perennial Prada claims to have never embraced before, was more urban jungle than safari jaunt, as evidenced by a frisky, big-buttoned coat in shocking pink and brown.

Prada also straddled the good-taste/bad-taste divide with graphic prints and offbeat, sour colors. Key looks included faux shearling coats, leather peacoats, miniskirts, slouchy cardigans and skinny pants with a swinging Seventies vibe.
