Sleek glamour and men’s wear were the impetus behind Albert Kriemler’s pre-fall collection at Akris, where Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty’s style in “Bonnie and Clyde” served as inspiration. A metallic Lurex suit and a tweed jacket and culottes worn with a gray mink and cashmere vest best exemplified the theme. A Parisian-chic vibe also ran throughout with two looks shown in blood-red monochromatics: a turtleneck and suede jacket and pencil skirt that evoked self assurance and a leather zip-up jacket lined in fur over a simple V-neck sweater and trousers.
