Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s childhood wardrobe during the Fifties inspired his pre-fall collection of clean and wearable pieces.

Feminizing looks from his memory, a brown wool coat, for instance, came cropped as a jacket and as a flared topper, while multicolored stripes appeared on knit sweater dresses, and even Castelbajac’s own childlike drawings were used on a sweater and dress.

Elsewhere were references of Castelbajac’s signature elements such as blanket fringe dangling from the sleeves of a striped coat.
