For his first pre-fall collection, Marco de Vincenzo continued his experimentation with color and optical effects. The result was a beautiful lineup, which perfectly balanced a touch of extravagance with impeccable elegance. Rainbow effects, one of the designer’s signature trademarks, appeared on a range of pieces with clean lines: a Lurex pleated skirt and knitted crewneck that he paired with a wool jacquard coat featuring graphic colorful accents, and a macramé lace pencil skirt worn with a silk crepe shirt with multicolor piping.

De Vincenzo also created checkered patterns by combining two layers of silk crepon, one with vertical and one with horizontal stripes, which appeared on a hyper-feminine blouse shown with a miniskirt in plissé with flat pleats. A shearling coat in soft, faded hues completed the look.
